Round 1: Cloud (~IIclipse ) vs. Seifer (*Inedible-Sushi )

ohmygahhhh, i was so afraid i wasn't going to finish this in time >_< thank god for the extension, or else there would be no way for me to get this done x_x (man, i'm so embarrassed for using the lens flare)

anyways, i've noticed that the characters i draw usually lack a certain element that makes them appear like they're alive, so i wanted to work on that for this piece. honestly, i don't really feel like i've succeeded, but oh well. i tried TT_TT i decided to use a backlight (instead of my usual 3/4 light) for this picture because i've never tried that before, and i actually really like the result! it's pretty fun to do too :>

...it's 7 in the morning and i haven't slept yet, so...i'm going to sleep now...
