Grace was just promoted to Executive Senior Financial Operations Manager! With this title, she has been given complete authority to handle all financial operations including at the Executive level! She was personally hired by the Chairman to “take out the trash”. The Chairman just happens to be her Great-Grandmother Francine, or Fran for short! Only Grace was allowed to call her that! Fran has suspected some foul play and she believes it’s coming from the executive level! She just can’t pinpoint it! So she created this position specifically for this purpose. Her instructions are to “find the problem, squash it down hard and get rid of it!” It took Grace about two weeks to find out exactly who was skimming of the top! It was Karen, who was the companies C.F.O. The first indicator was her first meeting with Grace! She just walked into her office and let her know who she was! Then she asked “what’s your purpose here? We can hardly afford another person on the payroll!” Grace said, “I was hired to search out those who may be deemed redundant and extra waste to this company! Karen just smirked and said “ we’ll see how long this lasts!” Then walked out! After thorough research and long nights, she found that it was in fact Karen who was the drain. Once Karen got “reduced” she knew she had been found so she made a last ditch effort to plead wit Grace! She made a mad dash to her office but her door was locked. She then heard the loud thud of footsteps coming her way! It was Grace. She began to explain herself as Grace began to unlock her door. Grace was having none of that! She opened the door and had her walk in! She immediately told her to stop! Grace removed her shoes and stood in front of her! Grace read off the verdict that was signed and approved by Fran! Karen demanded that she she the document! Once she saw it, she knew it was a done deal! Grace raises her foot up as Karen tried to run but fell over! It was over in a bout two seconds! Grace squashed her down hard and casually walked over to her desk. She called in the clean up crew to clean the stain off her carpet. Her next call was to the HR department to let them know that the CFO position has come available and will need to be filled as quick as possible!
