Description
The new Cheetah exhibit is open at Busch Gardens....you're all doomed now!Facts from the keepers...they have 13 yearling cheetahs, all female, and one male cub who's only a few months old. He was in New York yesterday for an appearance on The Today Show so you all lucked out there. Surely that reduced the photo-dump by a great deal.
In any case even the keepers have a hard time telling the cheetahs apart. The whole world's cheetah population is descended from a mere 500 ancestors. They are very much an inbred species. The 13 young ladies Busch Gardens has will be part of a fastidious breeding program designed to maximize the genetic diversity of the world's remaining cats.
Certainly this young lady knows she's important.

They really are the same as house cats....which is why I would NEVER want a big cat at home. I've been back at my house for less than a day and already have a nice new set of tread-marks on my shin where Rayne used my leg as a launchpad.
