Description
Following the call of the new piece of the ocean she had found; Nyx travels for an unquantifiable amount of time. The lack of light and monotony of the endless stretches of sand that make up the landscape of the ocean floor make it difficult for Nyx to get a grasp on any progress she's made. Thankfully, the occasional seamount or trench breaks up the otherwise barren landscape, but Nyx doesn't have time to stop and explore; she must continue her journey first. Eventually, The pull of the beak within Nyx's telekinesis brings Nyx to a slight drop off and at the base of said drop-off lays a slowly decaying corpse of a Humboldt squid half buried in the sand. Placing the beak near the tentacles of the squid, Nyx slows for a moment to consider her next options. Nyx decides to continue along the edge of the drop-off, but only after a short while is stopped by a mysterious creature that starts to swim up to her. It's some sort of fish but unlike any kind of fish, Nyx has seen before. Leaning in to get a closer look, Nyx pauses, it seems that this strange fish is looking to her for aid.
