When I was in the fourth grade my mom bought me a book called "Truly Horrific Grimm Tales", which retold the famous fairy tales as they were originally, before they were toned down for modern children. The first story I read was, of course, Snow White, and the content was unbelievably grotesque. I couldn't find anything online to back this up, but in this book Snow White was a natural born seductress, using her body to get what she wanted even as a child. The evil queen was in fact her real mother, and she turned against Snow White after catching her daughter and husband in bed. After the queen sends the hunter to kill her, Snow White escapes by seducing him. In the end, Snow White kills her mother by inviting her to the wedding and forcing her into burning steel shoes and making her dance to exhaustion.

But anyways, this is probably why I never had a good image of Snow White. The end.

EDIT: changed the shading and the hair cuz it bothered me to no end. Further critique is very much welcome. :3
