Psalm 46:10 says "Be still & know that I am God." In the Message translation it says "Step out of the traffic, and take a long, loving look at your God." Isn't it amazing how life goes by so fast...do you not realize that God's story is going on all around us...just blows me away...step out of the traffic of life, take a breath...Related content

Actually, the piece being out of focus helps give it its wonderful pleasure. The focus on the reds in this picture is also what makes it more noticable, and the whole piece within itself expresses the entire "just stop" feel. It is calm and collect, and I like it like that. A nice fitting image with a superb meaning.

wow...the concept behind this piece is amazing. I saw this at the christians site and wanted to come to your site to fav it. very nice...I especially enjoyed hearing the message translation. It felt so comforting to read this right now...that God says its okay for me to just get out of the rush.

its nice to consider that slowing down is an option; however unlikely. the snowball effect that is existance can be overwhelming, however there is no time like the present to dive right in.
