Out of the various tabogii and mancakes that the pet caretaker had under their wings, Moon felt herself surprisingly attached to this particular mancake - not that she knew the exact reason why. Maybe it was the withdrawn, yet curious nature it showed whenever she passed by its aviary? How she had to come in daily after she had been dragged along by her brother the last couple of weeks? How she had to give in the effort to gain the mancake's trust, to finally be able to interact and take care of it in a close distance?

The many whys and hows she wondered did not plague her thoughts for long, as all in all, she would return home with a new companion at her side ...and to a brother who would more than likely torment her with a few I-told-you-sos.
