Description
My 15th drawing of "Creatuanary " suggested by the prompt "insectoid gryphon". The gryphon or griffin is another creature from ancient Greece having the body, tail and hind legs of a lion with the head, wings and forelimbs of an eagle. For this creature I thought I would design a something that takes heavy inspiration from the Zerg of the real time strategy game Starcraft. Which gives the creature a very alien bug like look with its exoskeleton and reptilian eyes. I made sure to give it a beak but I had the bottom jaw separate to include mandibles and I gave it large talon on power forelimbs. I gave it a heavy tail and insect wings and extra pair of limbs which have lion like paws.
