I think I made a similar comment on one of your photos before, but it is worth stating again...
There are thousands of galleries of nude women on dA... the vast majority of which are intended to appeal to purely prurient interests.Β Almost none of them, and in my experience, only a tiny percentage of them, possess, even the slightest measure of artistic relevance at all.
Not so with your work. Perceiving the artistic value of your images is not difficult, It is, in fact, tremendously rewarding. I love looking at the nude female form. I also believe that a demonstration of appreciation of the inherent beauty of the nude female form is perfectly understandable.
I am no prude. I have, in fact, enjoyed what is described as an "alternative" lifestyle for most of my adult life. I enjoy sex, and all things erotic, and I love seeing women get naked.
There is a clear line of demarcation, however, between idolizing, or iconizing the female form, and displaying it as an object of purely venal, one might say almost deviant erotic, sexual objectivity.
Daniel, you clearly know where that line is. Your images are sometimes highly erotic and sensual. Sometimes they are simply beautiful. All demonstrate what I consider to be a healthy admiration and enjoyment of the inherent natural beauty of a lovely young girl, or a beautiful young woman. Many of your images are distinctly iconic, such as the one above. All are clearly well and deeply considered, by an artist who wishes to demonstrate his appreciation of feminine beauty, and his creative abilities, in a way that allows the viewer to wholly invest their interest in his images with a completely free expression of their appreciation.
Bravo, my friend. This is how it should be done.
