Description
A floating jellyfish uses its tentacles as bait for the Crystal Crab, which feeds on the glowing crystals in the subterranean caverns of an alien world. A form of moss grows and flowers at the base of these energetic structures.
This idea was based on my sophomore biology project, a long time ago. I developed an alien world and filled it with several plants and animals to make an interwoven ecosystem. It was fun imagining what type of creatures would live in a place with no sunlight, such as this imaginary world I created. I had to create a primary energy source, which is the crystals. They most likely gain energy from geothermal sources, but I didn't think too hard on it.
