Description
edit: i made a folder in my gallery for tuts and things indui.deviantart.com/gallery/4β¦ in case you want to look at the othersI know the way I color eyes is nothing special, but I have gotten several requests for how I color in general. I feel you could use this as a basis for the types of choices I make in terms of color
For example, I don't use dark blue to shade blue, or dark green to shade green.Β
Depending on the mood, sometimes I shade blue with dark red, or dark purple. In fact, the LAST color I'd use to shade blue is dark blue. (Well, maybe besides black XD)
Sometimes I set the shading layer to "Multiply," sometimes I don't. It all depends on what looks good. I could never make a full-blown tutorial because I'd mostly be saying "Well, I just color this with the color that I think looks good/shade this until it looks good" XD
so whatever. Maybe this isn't helpful, maybe it is
Thanks for reading

I JUST GOOGLED IT!
Homestuck, do you mean?
I chose red, green and blue for my tutorial because they're primary colors. It's coincidence that they're the same as those characters ^^ or maybe not, depending on what the author was thinking ~

thank you! 8D and there are many, many more! It's quite fun to experiment...especially with eyes.
And yes the complementary screen makes it look extra colorful

I used Photoshop
but it will also work in SAI and pretty much anything with the "Screen" layer option.
