Description
... yet an other speedpainting session.Did them all today within 4-5 hours in Photoshop CS2.
I tried some new chalky brushes. I quite like the brush performance of CS2 ...

I love how you manage to capture the atmosphere of a scenery with just a few rough strokes. I love especially the building at the bottom right, with its moody and warm colours

Chalky = tres cute!
I love it, and it looks so realistic until you get down into the full view, then it looks like a watercoler/chalk mix..maybe a wash or something?

how much time do you give yourself per image during speedpaint?

... something between 15 minutes and 2 hours.
I consider 2 hours for one "speed painting" already quite long ...
But it's up to you how much fun you have with your piece

Very nice work, Daniel. CS2 is on my christmas list. Those brushes look like they'll help me get the "look" I'm after in a couple of pieces.

the trick with almost any kind of brushing technique is to change size, opacity, angle etc. as oft as possible, wouldn't you agree ... these look good!
