The line "I should be drenched in sweat by now" for me takes the reader away from a personal experience of the piece, it nearly feels detached, "I should" either eludes to an "out of body" intense experience or the views of another. I would think that you would know how sweat covered you would be. I could be looking at this too literally maybe.
I love what seems like to me, the personification of the sun shine or rays of light, like finger protruding into the room. I would take the last sentence of this piece and use it as the first line too, as they are quite similar. For me it would create a sense of infinity or looping to the writing, maybe like the everlasting light.
I love the piece as a whole, i dont read enough erotic literature it seemsΒ Β . I am no writer, so if this either doesn't make sense or seems wrong to you. It is just my skewed view on life.Β Β
