Redesign of the avari (plural avarii), my alien race.

I changed a lot of things on them, but my main point was to redraw it, because I kind of half-assed the first picture, and I thought they deserved a proper one.

This picture is also a sneak-peek of their homeplanet's environment. The most visible difference between this and Earth's environment would be the colours, but the most important one is the gases that are present. Those are highly toxic to creatures that don't originate from there and they also make some native creatures and plants float due to the gas's low mass.
The avarii also have this ability: their upper body hides a highly evolved pair of lungs, that fill themselves with that gas and thus make their whole bodies float. They also have the holes I drew on the last picture, where they inhale. The gases go through the lungs and are violently pushed out of the creatures' backs. That's how they move forward. This also works the other way around, if they want to move backwards. Though this is not a fast movement. Since there are 2 pair of holes each on the front and on the back, they can use one pair for inhaling and one pair for exhaling to make themselves stand still.
On other worlds, such as my planet Aark, where the environment is much like Earth's, they can't use this ability and have to walk. There they let down their lungs, close the holes on their backs and use the holes on the front to inhale and exhale.
They can gather up oxygen in their lungs and close all 4 pairs of "lung holes" to hold back their breath and go underwater.

I also drew a piece of random cloth to hide his crotch, cuz I ain't drawin' spaceman balls
