Here we see Flain and Burnard, having fired-up wings.

And you can notice that Burnard's wings are different than Flain's.

Well, yes, Flain and Burnard are both the ones who transform into Crystal Infernites.

Flain got his wings permanently after he unlocked his Crystallized form.

And Burnard didn't after he unlock his Crystallized form.

But, moments later, he gets a pair of wings that are different than Flain's.

Flain gets (alicorn) wings that shoot out fire while Burnard has angel wings made out of fire.

Burnard's wings are only temporary, which means that he can make his wings appear when he's not in his transformation.

His wings can appear for a long time in his Crystallized form and not disappear.

Although, the wings can lose Burnard's flight when he gets hosed with water on the back.

But, his wings still appear and not fade away into smoke.

So, I give this a 75% chance about Burnard's wings to work or not.
