Description
This is a very basic tutorial for how to draw line-based fractals. (I'm sure there's a tecnical name for them, but I don't know it!) This is essentially the kind of thing I started using to make little fractal doodles before I came up with my own system. I'll be sure and post a tutorial for that system too soon. : ) Enjoy!Related content

Now I can make tons more fractals. ^_^
Ooo... I wonder if I can KNIT a fractal?

You're welcome! I love doodling them too. I especially used to cover my own notebooks with mandalas of recursive circles. : ) : )
Hmmm... I'm sure you could come up with some kind of fractal numbering sytem for stitches... I think I've seen a few out there. I saw someone had knitted a Klein Bottle once! : )

Oh, yeah - The Klein Bottle hats are really nifty.
Although the geekiest thing I've knitted so far is a Mobius scarf for my NASA-employed brother.
He's in Houston, but he does try to get out and ski whenever he can, crazy Northerner he is.

This is the principe of this kind of fractals, but usually it's done by computer, so handmade is a great idea !

Now all I have to do is make sure I have a litteral ton of time, right?
