Description
Within the story, When the newly completed Avatar left on it's mission, it contained technology that either had not been seen in over 500 years ( the wave motion engine and weapons ) or revolutionary technology that had not been seen at all before. To give those that they had left behind a fighting chance, this technology was passed on to the local militia. This is the result. With the manufacturing capability of an entire star system, dozens of these ships were built to bolster the home guard fleet.Related content

Wow... nice description, but wouldn't giving technology to a race that may not know how to use it lead to.... problems?
Either way though, not that made of a design though for some reason the render seems... low quality..

. . .and I didn't say the home guard know exactly how to use the technology. This was just to give them a fighting chance.
As for the render, it's probably the planet in the background. static Doga Earth. I had taken it into photoshop and touched it up then my PC crashed and I lost all my touch ups. see "Arrival on the scene" for an example.

it's all the same race. Avatar and it's tech were developed in secret for the mission. To give their homeworld a fighting chance, they passed it on to the "right" people.
