UPDATE: Now that flash is dead, unfortunately this no longer works. Thanks everyone for trying it out and commenting over the years! The good news is I *did* end up porting my four actual Flash games to HTML5 so they can still be played, see my Games gallery here on DA.Original Description:
This is a test of a clock-based timer vs. a framerate based timer. The problem with all my current games is that the timers are clock-based, meaning slower computers are at a disadvantage (ie, the clock keeps running while the computer struggles to render frames). In the future I may use framerate-based counters, so although they wouldn't accurately measure real seconds, they would measure a unit of time that is equivalent on slow or fast computers.
This is the 60fps version which is a lot more demanding than the 30fps version.
If you could post the framerate you're getting at, say, 0, 500, 1000, and 2500 Derpys, (or higher if you'd like) that would be really helpful for me in future game-making endeavors.

I love testing hardware.
My pc was between 14 and 17fps with 5000 derpy's.
0 through 854 derpy's was 60fps.
1104 was like in the 40s.

my laptop is asus zenbook pro and it has gtx 960m. its fps start fluctuating at 750 derpys and at 1000 it is 40-50fps is my computer bad, or should I buy a cooling pad?
