I knew it. I was going to say that was multiple shots over lapping, but then I remembered that you can't really do that with digital.
So then I was going to stay that the shutter was left told to stay open long enough to get a few waves coming in at once.
Nice job. The ghostly look of the water over the rocks is really good.

You're welcome I think at this point multiple-exposures is a feature found only on Pentax DSLRs, or Canon cameras with hacked firmware.

Another reason for me get a Canon, but I don't think I'll be hacking the firmware after paying so much for it.

well, if you don't hack the firmware, you don't get the multi-exposure.. Canons won't do it without it.

I get that.... but I don't hack as much as I use to, and that canon is going to cost me a pretty penny.
I think that I'll just be happy knowing that little secret about it. I don't know.
