It's odd how the water is still below the branch, but as you look out to the rest of the lake you see ripples. The stillness helps to really make this shot so great. 
One of these days when I get my own place, I'm going to bug you for prints of these.

They are or at least were having a session photo contest. you could win a real proper camera and have your pic in a calender. Along with a few cool runner up prizes.

Solemn, fragile, stagnant, beautiful, precious and yet it's so.. delicate. I'm in love with this capture, I can feel the atmospheric tensions from where I'm at (in my room, it's warm here). Marvellous.
