Naturally IVS did not want to miss out on Rosendal's Beachshow. Afterall, what more could you ask for in a perfect day of summer? A race, swimming, the ocean, sun, the beach, horses and many new people to meet! It already was ment to be a perfect day.
Choosing horses wasn't that easy, but Jack soon came to the point that Hobo should come along, afterall the tall chestnut loves the water and being the reliable horse he was deserved some fun. Not to mention, everyone at IVS always joked how his huge mane made him look like a surfer dude. So, Jack definitely would take the chance to take the surfer dude to a real beach.

Once arriving Jack took Hobo for a walk at the beach before the race. The stallion greatly enjoying himself, soon rolling himself in shallow water, having a great time.
After a little while it was time to meet their race mates, Jack very glad to meet some familiar faces and also many great new ones.

When it finally was time for the actual race, what else could you expect from pirates and vikings to do on a beach, Lyo and Jack soon went to try outracing each other in a friendly tease.
Yet, they better should watch out, for also the other members of their race had swift horses and so Emily and Damian soon enough were at their heals.
Yet, with the cool water splashing about the horses hooves, the cheerful animals snorting enthisuasticly and the sun burning down at them like it only could on such a perfect summer day, none really cared about actual placing. It was all about the fun and by god, in that discipline they definitely had all success.

Why, yes, I love drawing group-pictures of galopping horses. ;3 No matter how much frickin' work they are. XD And since there's only one of my characters in the race, I decided to simply also9 bring in the other three horses already posted in the second race. :3
I really hope I did everyone justice and you'll enjoy the pic. :3
