Was thinking about the whole how the stones are working in another universe thing and here is my solution. This dimensional crystal allows travel throughout the Multiverse while also keeping a link to the original Marvel comics universe where the stones are from. This link can be strengthened or weakened to limit how much body-disintegrating power is being used.
