Description
"Mary had a little lamb -- little lamb -- little lamb -- Mary had a little lamb whose fleece was white as snow."The knight sung beside his dead comrades, as archaic visages dominated his will. Forced down to his knees, he tried to claw at his mind and at his eyes; jaw wide, eyes glazed, pupils constricted. Finally, his lungs implode. An amorphous black mass blew out of every pore and orifice in his body, bleeding the life out of him. In a great desperation, he thrust his own sword through his head to relieve himself of his agony. The winds blew and the sands withered his body, back into the oblivion that is the desert.
Looming over the empty land, the angel of desolation stifled a soft chuckle and turned away.

Umm, whoa. that is a chilling story. "Ok keep Docter Ink away from me, even if I can't die that would hurt like hell."

Wow, such a tale you have spun. And a great picture. Did you get the idea from this from the Ebola virus? It sort of does the same -- you bleed out of every possible orifice on your body, among other things.

Actually, yes. However this isn't a disease, this is how the good Doctor-- incapacitates-- his adversaries, using his skill in metamorphosis. Of course, snaking tendrils across someone's bloodstream and quite literally forcing the blood out of him is less efficient than simply darting a needle straight through his skull and causing him to capitulate instantly through headshot but it is a more elegant way to commit -- necessary elimination -- don't you think?

Of course. It makes for good stories too. I just read "The Hot Zone", which describes outbreaks of Ebola and Marburg. I remember how the latter made the victim's skin detach, cough up black bile, and degrade everything in his body until it was an unidentifiable slush coming out of, well, everywhere.

Um...? Is this part of the dream you had with the priest and the nun?
Regardless, it's beautiful.
