Last time I submitted here, I was far too bashful. But really, this is the Internet, an ever-growing cesspool of nothing but peoples' endless ideas, good and bad. Plus, I'm not nearly popular enough to worry about what people on Deviantart are going to think of me and my ideas. After All odds are only about two people are going to end up reading this (one of them being me).
So yeah, this is Avatar Kahn, the reincarnated Korra. I love ATLA so much that making oc's and side stories is near impossible for me. Avatar Kahn is quiet, stubborn, intellectual, and level-headed. Although he's an earthbending prodigy, he likes to get things done as quickly and as efficiently as possible, so he almost never starts or gets involved with fights unless he has no other choice. When he does fight, his strategy often revolves around remaining motionless and unmovable while he bends and manipulates his environment to neutralize his opponents. He is headstrong and athletic, but he is not competitive and never tries to outdo or overcome someone else just for the sake of becoming stronger or showing off. Kahn is not easily provoked and is able to keep calm in an intense situation, but this also provides a few weaknesses for him. For instance, his lack of competitiveness and ambition makes firebending tricky for him to grasp. His nature is sturdy, rooted, cold, and occasionally apathetic. This makes the hotheaded combustible firebending techniques hard for him to master.
Kahn is one to take things as they are and not make a huge deal out of them. When he discovered he was the avatar, he was confused and upset at the entire world's reaction. He enjoys reading, playing strategy video games, and spending long afternoons out in the sun doing some kind of physical training, most often Earthbending forms.
Another important note (to me) is that Avatar Kahn invented glassbending using the mineral of calcite and the other purified minerals smelted within glass. He can also perform every other earthbending technique. His worst element is fire and does not tend to use this element as much as he probably should.
One more thing. He's an orphan that (as far as the orphanage knows) was born in Ba Sing Se.
