Description
Finished colors for the latest HTF print advert. The final ad layout appears in the December-January issue of Boards magazine (issue 2, Vol. 6, page 24). You can see the rough pencils in my Scraps, if you like.100% digital inks by yours truly, and colors by studio director Norton.
REPEAT: I DID NOT COLOR IT. I just want to make that clear... coloring is something I'm still working on, myself, but that's why I have good strong team-mates to back me up out there in the hard world.
Wish I had colored it, though... it came out pretty sweet.

Yeah, I'm all about the pegs on the bottom, not the top. Don't know if I had a good reason why, it was just the way I did it.
Nowadays I work completely paperless, so it's not really relevant, but when I draw animation paper I still put the pegs on the bottom.

Those are actually frames from the sequence that opens the studio's demo reel... I think there's a pencil test of that animation buried somewhere in the Gallery.

I'm putting my own personal meaning on this, every artist feels like he'she bleeds for there work. The blood is the best. It looks so real yet fanciful at the same time.
