The third and final installment to my reflection study, and my most favorite! The wonky shapes of the reflections and the hard whites against the reds were really fun to do, and since I had done the other two before this, I had lots of practice in (That, and it was during the creation of this piece that I remembered you could actually erase hard pastel with an eraser, which would have helped immensely with the first two installments XD).The only thing I don;t like about this is the wood in the background... wood grain is a hard texture to master, but I was paying more attention to the reflections, so I let it slide.

man, this looks really nice! It's probably my favorite as well from all three (though the eggs where close as well) The reflections are amazing as well as the shading and the texture/opacity of those hearts!-

Thank you!! When I started on the hearts, I was just laying down the colors that I saw, and I was like, "for red hearts, there sure is a lot of brown in these..." and when I finally stepped back to look at the full thing I realized that, duh, I was using a lot of browns because of the transparency of the plastic and I felt really dumb l'DD
