Description So here's a mask that I did for my Design II course ^^
Do I like how it looks? Of course, I love it.
Did I have a great time making it?
...
Well, yes and no.

While out gathering the bark and twigs, I nearly fell into our freezing lake due to a board breaking under my foot while walking across the bridge, and instead earned myself a deep bruise on my leg.

Then, like a numskull, I thought it would be alright if I skipped baking the bark in the oven to get rid of any bugs... I woke up the next morning to find clover mites crawling ALL OVER IT, and had to spend the next two days fumigating it with flea spray. It now reeks of clove oil, and it makes me light headed when I wear it l'DD

Though through all the problems, there is now a good story behind this mask, and I kind of like it that way 😸

Made using a mask template/paper mache (mask base), red pine bark, dried cattail reeds, polished quartz pebbles, birch bark, and pussywillow twigs ^^
