Hello!
I finished another Clip Studio Paint tutorial and uploaded it to my YouTube channel:
This time I'm showing you 4 awesome things you can do with vector lineart. The video is in English and Spanish. Check the video description on YouTube for the exact minute where the Spanish version starts. I already know what my next tutorial is going to be about, but I'd love to hear what you're interested in for the future~

Yes!!! Another video so sooon!
Well what I struggle with are getting a natural traditional look to my lines like some artist (like you), (maybe it's explained in this video, I haven't watched yet) so maybe an understanding of how to adjust tools if that's how they get it?... Like you get line thickness variation in a single swipe of pen not through the special tool that can let you do that or going over it achieve the varying line widths you want.
Make brushes/stamps, I struggle with shaping bodies... I don't know what tips, besides practice, you can give on how to envision, I don't know.
These are just my personal problems and are hoping some light can be shined on them.

Thank you very much for your ideas!
Regarding lineart, part of it is the tool you use to ink (did you download brushes from Assets?), and part of it is your tablet configuration. What tablet do you use? Getting uneven thickness goes according to how much pressure you put on the pen when inking (for pens that are pressure sensitive), so that depends a lot on how many pressure points your tablet has and how you configured the pressure.

Yes I've downloaded some like yours and a few from CSP website but I think they changed where it's downloaded to program and not computer. Since I use a library computer I can't transfer it to my USB like I did with yours that came with your first tutorial.
I have changed my pressure settings to a level higher. With the initial settings I had to press hard to get results. Now it's more comfortable.

If you have a user account on ClipStudioPaint, you can save a backup of all your installed brushes in the cloud, so when you open the software with the same user on a different computer you can click to restore the backup and get all the brushes automatically installed (buckets count as brushes). The only thing I didn't figure out how to transfer using the backup method is patterns and image materials.

Yeah I do have an account where you can download brushes and I can find a list of the ones I've clicked download to. (if that's what you're talking about) But one in general with their website. I don't have internet on my comp so it can't receive them other than downloading from library on usb.
Oh by the way, I know changing the brush to larger size can have a play in line variation, but seeing a video of someone else who explained that's what they do to get varying line widths helped me understand that. So now I know I can do that.

Then you can export the brushes from the software so you can put them into your USB and take them home. Exporting will give you a file like the one for my bucket (this is how I exported it to make it available for download).
Changing the brush to a larger size will of course make the lines thicker, but the ideal is that you have set a minimum and maximum size for a certain brush and you can vary the thickness depending on how much you press your pen. Some brushes react more to pressure than others, like Maru pen.

Since I use a library comp I have no idea where it saves the downloads I get from csp downloadable assets, all the other downloads I get from other websites like DA/Youtube (where I got yours and others) is downloaded to the downloaded folder on the comp.
Yeah I have to find tutorials that go in some depth of how changing the brushes.

No, I mean, when you open the software in your library computer, you can right click on each brush and click on "export sub tool", then you will export a file that you can save anywhere you want.

Yeah, that's the thing though, downloading from the actual CSP assets site I have no idea where the files are being saved for me to export them, it doesn't even show them downloading, the web page says I did just because I clicked download but the computer didn't. Though if it's from another website like DA or Youtube the files download right in the computers download folder for me to export.

You need to open Clip Studio Paint (the painting software, not just Clip Studio), and on the materials window, click on "downloads". All materials you download are there for you to import into the software.

You mean this right? This is on my personal computer, where I have my program and can only be accessed here not at the library.

Is there any Clip Studio Paint installed on your library computer? Or how do you download stuff from Assets there?

No, that's what I've been saying ^ ^ that I use a library computer that doesn't have CSP and can only download assets from links through DA, Youtube so far that I've used.

That's a good idea... I was about to but I read the user agreement though and didn't feel to comfortable downloading it, same user agreement as full edition. Where I go the computers delete all user data of that session, and that would be fine I think because they'll delete the program from the system, but If I find another brush I want another day I would have to re download it. I just don't want to do anything that the company would not like so I will have to contact them and explain my situation and see if they would be okay with the plan I have in mind.
