Working with the lovely Nakomii ! This whole past week (since the Saturday before last) I've been at Mars' house. It was awesome to see this whole process right before my eyes! For a few days she worked non-stop on this beautiful red platinum fox lifesize piece. In the top photo she had finished mounting him and started working on making her very own base. What a PAIN that was! It didn't want to fit at times and we had to keep cutting away to make it work. Eventually it fit together with a few dozen nails. Lol! In the second photo she got to working on some finishing work on the actual fox itself. She's just about done with the base minus a few things and he got a fresh coat of paint just before I left. I can't wait to see this guy finished. Nakomii 's hoping to enter into a couple state competitions with this piece. I hope to see him all done up and beautiful and (maybe, just maybe) get a few photos for her portfolio of the finished product.
