Don't take this the wrong way...but it's frightening. I felt my heart stop then jump-start as I fell into the deeply bleeding and frozen-black gaze. A shock to the senses at least.
The greyscale image really does bring out a LOT of dark emotions...fear, sorrow...pain and suffering. It's chilling, almost as if...there was a break in the self at that moment that came inside of all...like the loss of childish innocence and ignorance.
A very telling piece...and VERY chilling.
