What happened to my thoughts,
Uncomprehendable and perilous,
Futily scattered like the diamond stars
that gleam in the sky.

Emotions run rampent,
A wild bull angered by the red cape,
Manic-depressive sadness in its mind.

Like the words that spew from my pen,
Unbridled thoughts of hatred
from origins known and unknowing,
The bastard child of my insanity.

But surely I can't stop it now,
Now the knife is red and
I've read the words coming
out of the mouth.

I can't hear them over
the rush of the full throttle.
