Back to the space setting! The A-6 Android series is distinguishable by their golden irises. Otherwise they look Human (unless they bleed; their blood is translucent blue). Although they are artificial people, they have attained recognition as a sapient species, and have full civil rights within the Alliance. (Treatment other places... varies). A-6 Androids can have themselves altered to look however they want to, but three main "types" have developed in the decades since their independence. Some prefer to appear as extremely attractive men or women. Some prefer to appear more "unassuming", and typically look more mature. (These A-6's tend to take on roles as advisers and mentors). But about a third of A-6's decide to have themselves appear androgynous or gender-fluid. Most A-6's who are asexual fit into the latter two categories.
