I find it absolutely hilarious when someone says people who kill themselves are pathetic. I bet you've considered suicide, even attempted it, then that means the same for you. You see, those people probably have it harder than you. I admit that some people commit suicide for the wrong reason, but when their life sucks and nothing seems to work for them, hell, I think they have the right to do it. If they want to exit, fine. Some people can handle less than you, maybe if you have a hard life and call these people pathetic because their life is supposedly 'easier', I think you should actually consider that maybe they're weaker then you. And when people say: "If you can't handle life, you're pathetic."....Are you fucking stupid? These people didn't choose to have a hard life or choose to be born. Jesus, how ignorant can you be? I say if people want to exit, well let them. They won't regret it, as you claim they will.
Plus, if a person commits suicide because of something absolutely ridiculous, well, at least we got rid of an idiot.
Oh and I forgot. Some people get depressed and suicidal more easily than other people, thus they tend to be likelier to commit suicide.

Nobody who dares to kill themselves are pathetic... I am still one heck of a suicidal person since 2 years ago. Still lost in this dark abyss. In school, I did attempted suicide. Cause there are alot of sharp thing in there, OR, I tried to choke myself so that I would always repeat the three words to myself. "I hate myself". In other words, I am not thankful for being who I am. Because I do give threats to the world around me. Infact, if they don't want to be threatened anymore, then I shall attempt suicide. By killing yourself, you pass on the pain to someone else be it your parents, friends, pets, and literally anyone else who cares about you. With proper therapy and care, you can get better. This is also coming from someone who thought they had nothing to live for and attempted to commit suicide. There is always one person in the world who cares.

I thought the exact same thing before my suicide attempt. I suffer from severe schizophrenia and depression that cripples me and prevents me from doing many basic activities without having violent and suicidal thoughts. Go ahead and tell me to kill myself and end my suffering so I can be βhappyβ.

Suicidal thoughts are temporary with proper care and help. However by taking your own life, you pass on life long, horrible pain to the ones you love. Please, if anyone you know suffers from suicidal thoughts, please tell them you love them and you care. That can mean the world to them and lessen the pain for everyone.

No they aren't, it's the people who push them to the point to have to do that. And seeking help is hard, you don't just go up to someone and say "Hey I have suicidal thoughts, can you help me?" On a similar but unrelated note, I have depression, and I haven't told my parents yet, I want to, but it's too hard. Think about it, place yourself in the suicidal persons mind.

there have been many suicides in my family and it destroys the lives of the people left behind
suicide should be considered a sin as well as a crime because of all the collateral damage it does
all the pain and anger and hopelessness a suicide feels stops when they die
but then
overwhelms the ones left behind
all of the pain, hopelessness, anger, shame, fear, guilt
it's a parting gift from the suicide to all of his/her friends, family, collleagues
so
the pain the suicide felt is multipliedΒ
it only ends for the selfish bastard who is dead
suicide can be contagious, you know
one suicide can leads to the same terrible emotions for survivors
so they act on it in a way that ends THEIR pain
they don't choose to feel suicidal, but they choose to be selfish by reacting with suicide.

You have clearly never been suicidal. There are plenty of people who don't give a rats ass about family members committing suicide. Does suicide affect people other than the victim? Sometimes. Sin only exist if you're religious. And it should not be a crime. We have no problem euthanizing a dog or a cat when their suffering but we do have a problem with humans. Suicide isn't selfish. What is selfish is forcing someone who is in pain to live a life they don't think is worth living. In a way you're being selfish by making someone who is suffering stay alive for you. You keep yourself alive for yourself not for anyone else.
