Sorta a random idea I got??? xD Oh well it was fun.
The idea was that this is more or less what Roy was thinking of after the Envy fight when he shows regret for hurting Riza again. How he hurt her before, and how he hurt her again now. Riza on the other hand, in this image, is smiling because she still loves and trusts him.
IDK I'm not good with symbolic stuff. xD But I hope it's still cool looking.

Omg the emotions of Roy and Riza are a mixture of my emotions about this piece.
I love it so much! Since you want a bit of critique maybe you could of showed them kneeling and making Roy a bit smaller to convey how weak and helpless he's was feeling. Also the fingers on Roy's hand(the one at the bottom)seem a bit to long.
But this is absolutely stunning I love the bit on Riza's back where it's glowing and all this emotion.

They have a really complicated relationship. It's kind around her father/Roy's Master. If I remember well, Riza asked Roy to burn the secret of Fire Alchemy, she insisted, and he did. I still don't know the nature of their platonic relationship (it's clearly platonic). Riza is the daughter of Roy's master, he asked Roy to protect her, and the way he did it was pretty respecfull on my eyes. He saw her potential, and asked her to follow him, to stop him cause his ambition gets dangerous, to kill him if she has to. He diddn't saw her like a delicade princess, but like the awesome warrior she is. They take care of each other, it's not unilateral. Roy is like that, he did the same thing with Edward, who was only a child.
I think your art shows their relatioship very well. Roy clearly think he failed with Riza. Not just burning her back, but carring her for Ishbal's war, let her get hurt in the fight against the Homunculous, for didn't see that the army was so evyl and taking her there. But Riza wasn't dragged for anything, she choose do everything she did. She could leave Roy anytime, he wouldn't stop her.
I saw al this in this art of your. Maybe I just woke up emotional today. hehe. But, in all case. Good job. I aways say that, but you are very talent. I love your style, maybe one day I get there.
