Have not had much time to look at the many people I watch and their work. I'm glad I looked at this =]
Love the photograph, photographing at beaches is always wonderful to do!
My favorite is actually Pismo Beach and sometimes Santa Cruz or Halfmoon Bay for surfers. Fun and beautiful images are always to be found in such places =]
I'll state this once more, the composition, subject matter,focus, color, and story make this quite the excellent photograph.
