your long fingers entwine gently around mine, warm and loving.
exploring the surface of my hand, the lines of my palm, the crevices between my fingers, the curve of my thumb.
so soft, so sweet.
loving caresses, so kind, so gentle:
like cotton candy melting in my mouth,
or a soft sweater against my skin;
the delicate fragrance of lilies, or the glint of the sun in your hair.
two joined as one, fingers interlocked, lacing together.
a delicate moment, afraid to breathe.
my heart pounding, pushing violently against the walls of my veins, threatening to break through the delicate skin.
your heart beat pulsing in my hand-
a gentle squeeze, so full of feeling.
those gorgeous hands
massaging my neck.
gently splayed across my shoulders
seeking to take the pain away, searching for hurt to cure.
beautiful long fingers run through my hair,
twisting and turning with awe and delight.
one long finger
gently touching the tip of my nose,
your smiling face laughing at my expression.
your hands flutter at my sides,
searching for a spot to bring forth my laugh;
a squeal as a slap away those taunting, teasing hands.
your marvelous hands
rest momentarily on my knee, one brief moment, before you withdraw.
