The only reason I have tempera paint is because Beau bought it to use to paint his models for shoots. It is safe on skin.[link] is the same stuff I used outside for the photo of the paint on the cement patio.I painted with it as a kid at school. Water based and does not stain. I found it to act like watercolours. I also saw this video [link] the other day and thought I would try to paint on water. It didn't work because you need an additive for the water. I need to find out more so it will work...

my computer has been off all day, we have repair people coming out friday... it has been a pain.

It does your head in, doesn't it? I foolishly tried to "repair" several of ours myself. They now reside in the municipal tip. My eldest daughter complained yesterday that her laptop wasn't working. I offered to fetch my screwdriver but she politely declined.

Our house phone is also messed up. I think it has to do with the extreme wetness we have had. Since we live about 400 meters to the ocean I think the salt water has corroded wires. Anything metal doesn't last long this close to the ocean. Cars, outdoor furniture, camera's, tv's, computers... nothing is safe from salt air and moisture.

Yeah, there are drawbacks to living in paradise......as he looks out at the gloom. Actually, part of my head, maybe the paranoid one, who is currently quite active....thinks things mechanical as well as mental go through some somersaulting weirdness in this season. This kind of remark gets me metaphorical or physical slap from Mrs. K., who accuses me of thinking I know everything.......but I can't help that
