Seriously... I do not enjoy these pesky insects... We have had too many recently. In Australia when you are in the true "Outback" the flies are so aggressive one must wear a fly hat to keep them at bay. They go for anywhere they can for moisture...nose, eyes, mouth.... it bothered me more than the heat. This is me with my friend in fly gear near Silverton.... [link]

Excellent capture and presentation - good balance between detail (hairs on legs and hits of facets in the eyes) and creepy/disgusting feelings associated with such insects. Makes my skin crawl!!
