Nice work . I like the double abstract viz the random background with the 'pollockesque' overlay . I'm always envious of anyone who can express themselves with paint - I can't be trusted with painting a door !!!

My husband and I traveled from North Carolina to California to meet John and be part of the Missing Children Program he sponsored on DA. It was a very rewarding cause and we really enjoyed meeting John.

That area is actually how I decided to present it. I turned it several times and talked to Beau about it. It gave a flowing sort of on the water effect. Thanks so much for your comments... always appreciative J!!!!

Love what you are doing with these BG, especially this one. It really does give a sense of a flowing river, with its little local eddys, flotsam, ... Keep throwing that paint around , it is working for you and, I sense, gives you some release in doing it. B

you are so right BB... I am enjoying my paint time... I have even gotten Beau playing with paint. We are just two people rattling around in a big closed art gallery with tons of supplies to use up before we find our next home.

Of the group, Gayle, this is the one that appeals the most to my tastes. There are obvious touches of Pollock, and Kandinsky, and even a hint of Chagall in the background. I normally prefer restrained, muted, even sombre palettes, so bright yellows and saturated reds and blues are quite an assault! But, what an eye opener for early morning, 1st February.

I really appreciate your thoughtful comment. I am enjoying the recent art high I have been experiencing. It has rained here for days, and I have had some good paint days. I absolutely appreciate the vibrant colours. They have that awakening factor. Happy February 1st to you!!!!

I over painted it with left over latex house paint. Might as well use it. Love all the colours I have left over from the house.
