The plan was simple. Blaire would distract the cashier while Sarah and Rose made off with the soda dispenser’s syrup packets, selling them online at a higher price.

Rose had masterminded the whole thing, taking every detail into account; Sarah, eager for one last night of excitement before her graduation, provided the getaway vehicle; and Blaire, whom Rose deemed the clumsiest and thus the greatest liability, was to distract the cashier.
