Description I described the concept in the front veiw image, but did'nt mention the darkness of the photo's
The dark lighting is intentional for the image, I wanted to convey the workings of the mind.
These images are almost cut and paste from the originals I only croped and took a little of yellow out that did'nt belong.

The muscleture (sp) and surface textures intrigue me almost more than the treatments with color, the expression, and the posture. An interesting interpretation of the muse. What material did you use (plaster, resin maybe?)?

Thanks for the comment, the material is 4 different colors of ceramic clay fired in an electric kiln to cone-5, the texture is from a typical potters tool called a cerated rib (a wide tooth comb works as well) I scraped the surface when the clay is leather hard the darker clay being underneath the white makes the scoring look like the red scapes that we might get on our own skin with the red coming from underneath.
I do use a clear matt sealant over everything.

Wow... I don't see a lot of ceramic work like that. Most people throw, I think I only know one or two ceramic sculptors. Beautiful work, once again

I tend to think of her as a mental symbiot or maybe Im the symbiot.
This piece wasnt from a model though I have and still do work from models this piece I would'nt want a model since she is my mental monster of imagination that is constantly naging to do more, better, and go ever farther, why sleep, eat or try to make a living or have a life.
The image of this creature I wouldnt want to inflict on any model.

It varies--depends on how rough he's (I've) been on me lately. Sometimes he looks like people I know....
