I so conquered that sphere. >=3

Mkay, so this is the very beginning of my Max costume. I wasn't able to finish much of it aside from the outfit itself before the con, but it was close enough that I didn't really mind. This costume features my three-fingered Irken gloves and my Invader flag . The clothing is pretty much done, though I might adjust the purple under-shirt so it's the right length. It's too bad you can't see the vest/shirt very well in these photos. =/

Yes, that is a fedora with Irken antennae on it. I threw it together at the last second so that people would recognize me better. It's not actually part of the full costume I'm aiming for, but it's a good stand-in till I get other key Irken features worked in (such as the PAK).

But what do you guys think of the hat? Is it something I should consider keeping until I have a mask?

For those of you going "Wait! Max is a disloyal defective who wants to destroy the empire!" I have an explanation for that. Not that I expect anyone to remember that about her. lol. She was indeed an invader at one point, and she was very good at her job. For the sake of being able to carry around that flag, I decided I was cosplaying her from before she realized she was defective. Yay for after-the-fact justification!
