Welcome to Fallout 3, where everything's addictive and no-one can sober up on their own.

The Addiction feature in Fallout is neat in that it prevents you from going nuts on steroids and laying waste to the Wasteland, but when you find out just how many items are habit-forming , you start to wonder what you're NOT going to end up dependant on. I remember the first time my character had a beer he was diagnosed as a full-blown alcoholic. You can even get addicted to coke (the drink, not the other, already-addictive variety).

All in all, alarm bells start ringing when a doctor says "You're addicted to drugs? Hey I have drugs that can fix that!"

I finally finished the main story this summer, instead of pissing about exploring the big open spaces Bethesda make. The ending was ... ok. I guess. Play it yourself and find out. Also I've managed to go from the drab interiors of Metal Gear Solid to the drabber interiors of Fallout. Guess I need to work with something colourful.

[EDIT] Some of you pointed out that this comic follows pretty much the exact same formula as the one I made here. With any luck you haven't notice the rest of my comics are just the same 3 jokes recycled over and over.
Seriously though, I can't believe I overlooked this.
