Description I took a class on the works of Jane Austen and the class ended up putting together a ball in the end. The ball had different areas that each group covered and presented on, including entertainment. Apparently cheese rolling is still performed in some places, but it used to be an activity or event that was performed during Jane Austen's era. Cheese rolling is essentially rolling an 8 pound cheese down an extremely steep hill, and then racing against others to be the first to get the cheese. Because the hills are so steep, the racers cannot stay upright for very long. When I put cheese rolling and the heroines of Austen's novels together...this is what I got.

This cartoon is dedicated to all my classmates and our fantastic professor for the Jane Austen seminar.
