The basis for this fantasy weapon is simple - a spinning sharpened wheel on a string. Would it ever work in real life? No. Is it an awesome fantasy weapon? I'll let you decide. I couldn't find a name for this kind of weapon, so I have dubbed it the Flying Death Wheel, which is a bit of a mouthful, but it's the best I've got.Made in Blender Cycles.
