Tinaya the Battledancer once again! I sat down today to practice gesture drawing (which is something I had never done in my previous pieces and it's obvious... but I've been practicing for a while and trying to do better about it) and I was really happy with the pose, so I decided I'd do some sketching over the top to see how the drawing would look if it had actual form. One thing led to another, and then I had a figure drawing, and then a full image, and here we are!! It was some of the strongest inspiration I've had to do a piece in years!! I'm extremely happy with the outcome and hopefully someone out there will like it, too!
