Hi Arminius1871,
Once you've worked your way into Animate CC it doesn't actually take all that long (I'd say about 2 weeks for the Animate CC basics are a reasonable timeframe. There are some great tutorials available on YouTube).

The time consuming part is more on the side of creating the art, rather than animating it. But that can drastically change based on how detailed the art & animation is supposed to be. Sticking to a relatively simple character design (as I did), obviously makes things a little easier. In my case I can save a lot of time by not having to animate any arms and keeping the legs to a minimum (simple stick figures).
