Recently, I've been hit in the face by nostalgia and I just remembered how much I used to love this series. I guess I still do? After all, it WAS pretty neat.
So it felt kinda nice to draw it again after all this time. 8]
Matsuda is still as stupid as hell though. But fear not! He might just be able to beat a melted ice cream cone at minesweeper one day! Can't wait for that.

So you've been hit be a sudden nostalgia for Death Note too? At first I thought it was just me, but you're the third person I've seen to suddenly be craving this old fandom! XD

Nah, man, you're not the only one. I used to be really eager about it and I made lots of comics about the series. Then I guess I hopped into the Homestuck bandwagon and Death Note just stepped aside for a while. But I suppose I never stopped liking it, and it's kinda fun to draw it again after all this time!
Plus, there are just so many jokes you can crack so it just makes it that much better... xD
And yeah, Matsuda is probably the one guy who can make even the most stoic person facepalm.
