LOL You're right, a girl is a girl, ninja or not. I would be mad too if I ruined my new shoes! I would be scared senseless if someone suddenly grabbed my foot from deep underground. On second thought, the action in the panels has you on the edge of your seat. The screen tones really help set it up nicely.

It's been an intense fight so far o.o I don't think ruining shoes will be taken lightly by Kumiko XDD The underground techinique just like Naruto and kakashi : O Intense fight indeed XDD

I broke it first time in a biochemistry lab ~after noon~ it was the BEST shoes I ever had TT__TT
twice more were in the hsopital where I study..
I can count at least 3 more times--but it was the very thin lace taht keeps the thing together (I love those sandles with minial material but they break up so easily T_T)
I guess I m not very luck with those XD at least you were in a mall where u could run into a store and grasp a new one at once! I had to walk on my toes to keep my legs of equal length! and I was good at that XDD no one ever noticed!

Ouch, those shos whit the thin lace are beautiful, but they break in less of a week. T^T
I prefer boots, those with the really thin heel. >< So great, but they break in a mather of months... especialy whit how much I use them.
