So, I've had another crack at a steampunk wrist computer thing.

This project has been through several different stages but it's finally 'finished'. I just wasn't happy with it before but I think this will now be the center piece of my costume.

Made with 2-3mm leather, I actually started trying to make a chunky watch strap out of my scraps. I was sorting through and when I came across a likely looking piece I'd rivet it to the others. Anyway before long I had a gauntlet!

Later I added a compass and dyed it a dark tan colour. Later still it acquired some vintage typewriter keys, a fur lining and another coat of darker dye.

Not bad for scraps and no clear plan in mind!
